It’s an incredible time to work at The Daily Orange, and support it, as a generation of young journalists experiment with new mediums of reporting to extend the legacy of our newspaper of record for another 115 years.

We were recently named the #1 daily college newspaper in the United States by the Society of Professional Journalists and named an Associated Collegiate Press newspaper Pacemaker finalist.

And we couldn’t be more excited about the upcoming 2018-19 school year.

We’re continuing our digital-first editorial initiative, working with IT to expand the capabilities of dailyorange.com and planning for our eventual move out of 744 Ostrom Ave. due to Syracuse University’s Campus Framework project.

In support of our quality independent journalism, we hope you can help The D.O. celebrate its 115th birthday by supporting our organization, reviewing our work or learning more about our history.

Over the course of the last year, The D.O. has been nationally recognized for its reporting on the Theta Tau videos controversy, has sent reporters to cover the 2018 men’s basketball NCAA Tournament and has published ambitious feature stories from around the world.

That coverage wouldn’t be possible without supporters like you.

We can’t say enough how much we appreciate any contribution you’re able to make to support our nonprofit newsroom as we enter the year.
